David Freyr Oddsson was appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer in November 2022. He joined Marel in 2011 as HR Director of the company’s International Sales and Service Network, then Executive Vice President Human Resources from 2013-2020 and Vice President People & Culture 2020-2022.

Before joining Marel, Oddsson was Global Head of Human Resources and Corporate Services at Straumur Investment Bank from 2006 until 2011. Prior to that, he spent seven years as an HR consultant at Capacent.
