Arni Sigurdsson assumed the position of CBO and Deputy CEO in November 2022. In this role, Arni is responsible for Marel's Business Divisions, in addition to the overall business growth and the strategic direction of Marel. He joined Marel in 2014 as Head of Strategy, then from 2020 - 2022 as Chief Strategy Officer & EVP Strategic Business Units. Before joining Marel he worked at AGC Partners and Landsbankinn Islands, where he supported Marel on the acquisition of Stork Food Systems. Arni serves on the board of Worximity Technology Inc.
